Barbara Gail (Moore) Walters, 75, of Clearwater Beach, Florida, passed away on March 31, 2016 in St Petersburg, Florida after a brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Barbara (Bobbie Gail) was born in Winter Haven to Julia Alene Clark and Sanford Elias Moore. She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School and worked primarily in customer service in banking. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Retired Officers Wives Club and MOAA. She was an active member in the Church of the Isles, in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.
Barbara is survived by children Robert P Walters, Jr (Nancy), Robin W Krasuski (Tim), Joy W Leto (Chris); sisters Sandra Sanderson (Mel), Pat Smith, Pamela K Davis; grandchildren Martina Malek (Nathan), Daytona Erkan (Errol), Christopher Leto (Gabby), Vincent Leto, Charlie Krasuski; great grandchildren Zach, Misha, and Declan and her loving dog, Bear.
Barbara is predeceased by the love of her life Robert P Walters, Sr. and her sister Betty White.
Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was lovingly known as Oma to all. She will be remembered for her devotion to our Lord, her dedication to her family, her love of the beach, her kindness and Southern charm.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, April 8, at 3pm at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Doug Ganyo and Barbara’s brother-in-law, Rev. Doug Townley officiating.
