Paolo

The Gordon family extends its deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Davila. My sister and I were his first patients once he newly began his practice in McLean when he had long hair. This man cared for us along with his wife for our entire adolescent years and then cared for our children and younger siblings. He was an amazing spirit that believed in helping all. We continue to go to McLean Pediatrics to care for next generation of our family. I was there on Friday. He and his wife even came to our high school graduation and provided us with two lovely purses to take off to college. He encouraged us and loved on us. When I graduated from James Madison University, he encouraged me then and told me to do well. We looked forward every year to his Holiday letter telling us all about their year. The earth will not be the same but was blessed by all the goodness that he shared with the world. Rest in Heaven!!
Dr. Davoli and his partner Dr. Evers were the pediatritions for our six children in Falls Church, VA. One our memories of him is the house call he made at 2am on a snowy night in a VW “bug” because our son was experiencing a high fever. We’ll not forget his kind caring for our children
I was profoundly saddened to read of Dr. Davoli’s passing in this morning’s Washington Post. My thoughts and prayers are offered for Dr. Davoli and his family. I have many fond memories of McLean Pediatrics where I worked as a weekend receptionist during the 80’s and Dr. Davoli and Dr. Evers were the pediatricians for our three children. Eternal Rest Grant unto Him. May perpetual light shine upon him and may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.
Dr. Davoli was a kind and caring man and an excellent pediatrician. He was the doctor for our three children and they loved him.I was a collegue in McLean where I practiced in the McLean medical building. My daughter {age 52} is now a doctor in that same building. My condolences to your family. I was very sorry to have read of the passing of Enrico ” Henry ” Davoli. I practiced pediatric cardiology in Washington and Northern Virginia for 35 years. Henry was an excellent pediatrician who was always on target when he referred patients to me. His clinical acumen was matched by his sincerity in caring for the children in his and Dr. Evers’ practice. Henry’s personal interest in the welfare of the children under his care will long be remembered by their parents. His memory should be an inspiration for younger physicians who follow in his footsteps.
My daughters (now 35 and 37) and I fondly remember Dr. Davoli. His no nonsense and compassionate approach to children was just what we liked about him. My youngest will always remember him for piercing her ears.
Joseph and Donna Puglise, Lorton, VA-So blessed to have known and traveled with Enrico and Jane. They are an amazing and inspiring couple. Some of Henry’s legacy is card counting in Briscola, peas and pasta dinners, love of Calabria, but most is his awesome practice of pediatrics. Missed but not forgotten.
As a colleague in medical school, ,in residency and in pediatric practice in northern Va. I knew Enrico as a man dedicated to his religion, to ,his family, to the practice of pediatrics, and to the betterment of mankind. My condolences to the family of this good man.
