Dear Martha, We’ve never met, but Jim and I grew up together. We attended the same grade school, Junior & Senior High as well as the Univ of NE at Lincoln. His mother Jane was one of my mother’s closest friends and I always went looking for Al when I needed something at Miller & Paine. Although we didn’t keep in touch after graduation, I learned through the grapevine of your meeting, marriage and miscellaneous details of your lives in Michigan. One never knows what to say to the family and loved ones left behind as nothing can fill the void or ease the heartache. You never get over loosing someone, but you do learn to live with it. Our prayers are with you and your family. My sincere condolences.
