I met jane in 1973 when she became best friends with my best friend, her husband, Jim, Der to most of us.
So for 47 years we met in passing as we were often Florida visitors. Jane was the hostess with comfort and class, often making home made meals she loved to prepare and we loved to enjoy. When Der passed in 2015, we continued our twice a year visits to Jane ( now at 5) different homes they or she lived in since the 90’s. Our last meal was Dec. 29 in her new home which she was beginning to get used to. She graciously shared with us her health dilemmas until I could not “find’ her available. Norma loved her company…..she could converse with many subjects…..I will miss her “reading” tips as she read 5 books to my 1. God Bless her relatives, especially the Heymann’s family (extended) who provided many, many wings for them for many, many years.. I am so sorry I could not say goodbye to such a lovely person. Say hello to Der when you meet him next. .
