October 23, 1984 - March 16, 2019     Age: 34

Jason H. Bittner, 34, of Yulee passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center-Nassau from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born in Brunswick, GA, he was the son of Herb and Cheryl Bittner.  His family moved to Grand Bay, AL while he was young and he was reared there. He was a 2002 graduate of Alma Bryant High School.

After moving to Yulee in 2005, he met and married Candace Miller.  He was employed as a Service Writer at Kia of Orange Park. He loved spending time with his daughter, Lindsey and riding motorcycles.  Jason was full of life, loved being outdoors and had a special way of reading people and making them laugh.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Anne Chajkowski and his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Patricia Bittner.

He leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Candace Miller Bittner of Yulee; his daughter, Lindsey Bittner of Yulee; a step daughter, Kamre Rothwell of Yulee; his parents, Cheryl and Herb Bittner of Fernandina Beach; 13 Aunts and Uncles; 24 Cousins and several extended family members.

 Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

The family asks that those desiring please make donations in lieu of flowers to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY  10004.

    I am so very sorry for you loss. Prayers for The entire Family. Jason was a customer where I work and was just Happy with that big smile every time we saw him. And we all knew in conversation how he loved his family especially his Baby Girl.

    I am so sorry. KIA will not be the same without him! We shared lots of fun times and memories. My appointment at KIA was Monday…wish I would have made it in sooner to see him one last time. 🙁
