I had the privilege of working with Ms Joyce for almost 10 years. She quickly became my mentor, friend, confidante etc…. She had loves in life and family had its own special place in her heart and we discussed them so many many times gazing at the pics in her wallet and on her desk in office. She was a genuine person speaking what she meant and meaning what she said. She loved me and my family and I hers. Specially when that grand Daughter came along it was ohhhhh Tim I gotta tell you….. I am smiling thinking of her face that day. Her work ethic drove me to be a better employee and her love drove me to be a better man, Father and husband. Joyce you changed me for life simply by the life you lived daily right before my bewildered eyes. Love you forever! I will see you again! I wonder if practical jokes are allowed in Heaven?

It broke my heart when I learned of Joyce’s passing. Our families were very close and Joyce was not only a baby sitter for us when I was small but she, Becky, Billy, Rusty, Bonnie and Cindy grew up with my family almost like sisters and brothers- at least from my perspective. I love you all and share in your sorrow.
