Marvel A. Wilkinson, 73, of Yulee, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home.

There will be no local service. Mrs. Wilkinson will be returned to her native Ohio.

Those desiring may make contributions, in her memory, to Micah’s Place, P. O. Box 16287, Fernandina Beach, FL  32035.

Marvel is my aunt. I didn’t know her well and I don’t know many my cousins on my mother’s side of the family. But with each passing of a relative, the history of my origins becomes more inaccessible to me. I offer my condolence to you, my uncle and cousins. Although I do not know you well, our blood is the same, my love for you is strong. I will pray for you during this difficult time of loss. I will pray for a day when I can know you and be known by you. Until then, accept my condolence in my absence. God bless you all.
