Matt was a friend, a marine (Once/always), an avid fisherman, and a good man. He had a smile that could light up the room, charm the ladies, and put men at ease. The world was a little better with him in it. my heart is with you all. Randy and Martha, I know there is a special place for you in Heaven for all the care you have shown for so many. When we all get there, I want to come over and party with you and Matt, Mary, and Mike. Until then, goodbye Matt…on to new chapters. Give you sister and brother a big hug and kiss from us. Love, Travis and Deb..

Matt, I really didn’t expect that you would leave us so soon. We have had so many great times together. It just isn’t fair. I will miss you, and your quick sense of humor. When I think of you, my mind floods with fun memories of the Beach House, fishing and family get togethers at your house.
I am sure going to miss you, My brother,my fishing buddy and my partner in crime.
Fly high and free, until we meet again.

The world lost a good man, who had a gift for making me laugh and just “be” in the moment. I think back to many fiestas, cook outs, concerts and even Matt getting stuck listening to Martha and me chat endlessly. He rolled with the tide, and added such great energy wherever he was. I know he worked hard underwater, and endured conditions I can’t imagine. What a hero! He lives on through his beautiful children, sisters, and nieces and nephews. You did life with such gusto; peace and love to you Matt. XXOO Dana

Zach and Madison, We are so very sorry to hear about your dad. He had such an infectious smile just like the two of you. We will forever remember his smile and the love that he always had for the two of you. May you always hold your dad’s memories close to your heart.
