Our Bonus Mom, will be missed. The memories will be cherished of the 16 years she was married to our Dad Bishop Ben Blankenship. Because of her love and dedication to God and Daddy, we got to keep him a few years longer. Thank you to our precious Bonus Mom Melba. I miss you already.

When Melba first met my dad there was no way to know
That over time I too would come to love her.

I am happy that she joined our family and became such a major part of our lives.

I could never do enough to repay my bonus mom for taking such great care of my dad, I know dad couldn’t have managed
if she hadn’t been there for him all those years.

    Melba is already dearly missed.
But I’m sure her loved ones in Glory,
have already welcomed her with open arms.

My prayers go out to all of her children that over time the pain of missing her will lessen.
