I had been thinking of O-Dub a lot lately. In Afghanistan, he prevented the loss of life of many. I will remember him for his big heart, and late-to-the-punchline personality. He also had a mean volleyball serve. RIP “laser beam.”

Olin left behind many fond memories and lasting impressions with the men and women he served with. He was a great example to me and stood taller than life’s problems. I will always remember Olin and his unique personality. Also, Doc is correct, Olin was the anchor of our sandpit volleyball team in Afghanistan. Deeds not words.
