Rosario (Chari) Taylor passed away peacefully at home on May 10th in Fernandina Beach, Florida with family by her side.
Born in Cadiz, Spain, she married and moved to Orange Park, Florida in 1965. Chari had three daughters at a young age and worked tirelessly to raise them. She married Alfred (Al) Oliver Taylor on October 8, 1993 and spent the last 26 years married to her soul mate. They retired to Amelia Island in 2012, where she continued her tradition of growing the most beautiful flower gardens.
Chari leaves behind her loving husband, Al, her three daughters, Maria Hoyt, Louise McWaters, and Michelle (Kyle) Selph; stepson, Justin Taylor; grandchildren Carmen, Sebastian, Winston, Joanna, and Noah, and many relatives in Spain.
She will always be remembered for her bravery and her unconditional love of life and family, especially being “Abuela” to her five grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.
The family is planning a private celebration of Chari’s life.
