David Hereford, 40, of Fernandina Beach, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia, David was a 1995 graduate from George Washington High School in Charleston. In 2005, he moved to Fernandina Beach closer to his parents. Shortly thereafter, he took much pride in creating Hereford�s Window Cleaning Service. David loved skateboarding his pit bull, Loki, around the neighborhood, snow skiing, and beating his mother at tennis. He also enjoyed history and loud music.

Those close to him saw his passion for helping individuals early in their sobriety. The quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of his time here with us.

David is survived by his beloved mother and stepfather, Kent and Bill Hamb; his father, Dan Dudley of Sylvania, Ohio; two sons he adored, Miles Cote and stepson, Connor Franklin; as well as his former wife, Shelley Anderson.

A celebration of life is planned for the end of March. Arrangements to be announced.
