Mrs. Dorothy Jo Lloyd, age 88 of Fernandina Beach, passed away on Friday evening October 12, 2018 surrounded by her family at the Warner Center for Caring. She follows her husband of 65 years, Jeff Dallas Lloyd, Fernandina Beach, FL, who passed away on April 10, 2016.

Born on March 2, 1930 in Picher, OK, she was one of four children born to the late Ralph E. Caddell and Bessie L. Caddell (Blundell). She grew up on Wadamalaw Island, SC where her family moved during World War II. She moved to Fernandina Beach in 1951 where she met and married Jeff and has lived ever since. She enjoyed quilting and spending time on the local beaches.

Mrs. Lloyd leaves behind her three sons, Jeff D. Lloyd Jr., (Yulee, FL), John Lloyd and his wife, Becky, (Yulee, FL), Wayne Lloyd and his wife, Susanna, (Cumming, GA), a brother, Teddy Caddell and his wife Sharon, (Summerton, SC), several grandchildren, Caroline and Nathan Lloyd , (Cumming, GA), Keenan Cottrell (Columbus GA), Kristy Lentz (Gainesvillle, GA), and Kelly Brooks (Flowery Branch, GA) as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
