Erica Nicole Jones

rica Nicole Jones, age 29 of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.

She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert E. Jones and Donna L. Volpitta Clifton.

Erica worked as a Para-Legal for the States Attorney�s Office in Jacksonville, Florida. She loved her job and those she worked with. Erica was strong in her faith and in her love for God and is now rejoicing at His side.

She is preceded in death by both of her grandfathers, Samuel Volpitta and Frederick Jones.

Erica leaves behind her parents, Donna Clifton and Robert Jones; her sister, Casey Jones; her Nanny, Shirley Volpitta; uncle, Michael Volpitta; the two lights in her life, niece, Gracelyn and nephew, C.J. (Coy); a very special cousin, Stephanie Lastinger and two very special friends, Dawn Johnson and Kaitlyn Van Deren. There is not enough room to list all of her family and friends and they all know who they are.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later time and will be posted to her Facebook page.

Those desiring, please make a donation to any cancer center or organization dealing with autoimmune diseases.

Shirley, Donna and Casey- Although Erica and I were no longer in direct contact, I am sickened to hear of her passing. I know her belief in God was strong and I pray she is at rest in heaven.May sweet memories wrap all of you in love and comfort.
