Mrs. Eunice R. Maley, age 88, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2017 at the Warner Center for Caring.

Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late William and Viola Herretski Wygocki. After high school she attended Eastern Michigan University where she earned her Master�s Degree in Elementary Education. She was a substitute teacher and taught all over the Detroit area. In 1978 she and her husband moved to Fernandina Beach, FL. After settling in Northeast Florida, Mrs. Maley attended the University of North Florida. She taught elementary school at Yulee Primary School until retiring in 1992.

Mrs. Maley enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the United States, as well as, in later years with her daughters abroad to Europe and Australia.

She was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Mrs . Maley is preceded in death by her husband, James Ignatius Maley, who passed away in 1979.

She leaves behind their children, Ella Maley and her husband, Andre Damion, Phonex, AZ, Jim Maley, Los Angeles, CA, Victoria Maley, Bellville, MI, Bill Maley and his wife, Diane, Jacksonville, FL, Kathleen Zemmins and her husband, Bill, Grosse Point Park, MI, Elaine Hudson, Cadillac, MI and her husband, Warren, Nashville, TN, Joe Maley and his wife, Barb, Fernandina Beach, FL, Paul Maley and his wife, Julie, Yulee, FL, a sister, Regina of Warren, MI, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Jose Kallukalam, Celebrant.

Mrs. Maley will be laid to rest beside her husband in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Riverview, MI.

Her family will receive friends at Oxley Heard on Wednesday from 5:00 � 7:00 pm and on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm.
