It was my good fortune to meet Gail when I became her next-door neighbor in 2004. She was one of the best friends I ever had, and I will always love and miss her. Our loss is Heaven's gain. May she rest in the arms of Jesus for eternity.

During her time in Fernandina Beach, Gail was a member of the Women’s Club, the Magnolia Garden Club, the Gail Shave Circle at Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Gail lived her life faithfully always putting others before herself and volunteering her time at every opportunity. She dedicated her career and life to caring for others.
