Linda J. Nunez

Linda J. Nunez, age 75 of Yulee, FL passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Quality Health after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Charles Wilson Pilkington and Velma Lurine Burdett. Mrs. Nunez lived in Yulee for the past 13 years and was a homemaker.
In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, making jewelry for her friends, sewing and crocheting. She also loved going on cruises, traveling with friend and church groups, and spending time with her �Twisted Sisters!�
She was an active member of Blackrock Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing to the congregation.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Nunez and son, Charles Mitchell Sturges.
She leaves behind her daughter, Terri Sturges Merritt and her husband Gregory of Brunswick, Georgia; grandchildren, Taylor Lee Woodruff and his wife Jennifer of Yulee, Cady Money and her husband Spencer of Yulee, Kiley Sturges of Yulee, Sarah Merritt of Brunswick, Georgia and sisters-in-law, Claudine Newton and Nelda Austin both of Fernandina Beach, Florida.
The family is planning a service to celebrate her life which will be announced later.
