Mary Alice Gillis, 70, of Yulee passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at UF Health Downtown in Jacksonville.
Born in Jacksonville, she was a daughter of the late William and Juanita Hagin DeWitt.
She was a longtime member of River of Praise Worship Center where family and friends will gather ON Friday, July 9, 2021 (TODAY) at 3:00 PM to celebrate and remember her life.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Gillis, Sr. in 2015.
She was the loving mother of Ralph (Donna) Gillis, Jr. of Yulee and Ray (Cindy) Gillis of Lubbock, TX. Besides her children she leaves behind her brother and sisters, Eddie (Joanie) DeWitt of Nahunta, GA, Cassie (Roger) Reeves and Gail (Henry) Rowland of Yulee; her grandchildren, Lindsey (Body) Matthews, Kevin Moore and Brianna King; a close niece Melanie (Alex Garcia) Parker as well as several extended family members and friends.
Mary will be laid to rest with her husband at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, GA at a later time.
