Sylvia Mia Bicknell

2020-07-03

We are saddened by the passing of Sylvia Mia Bicknell on July 3, 2020, however her husband, children, grandchildren and all who knew her will continue to celebrate and remember her life.

For the last 10 years, Sylvia worked alongside of her husband, Dr. Paul Bicknell managing his psychological practice. In the past she was an ASID Interior Designer. Even with these professional accomplishments, she was first and foremost a devoted wife and a fabulous mother to her three children and three grandchildren. She was the proverbial Momma Bear always protecting her cubs. She taught her family what unconditional love is all about and always gave positive affirmations to those she loved.

She was tough and had a strong will to live, fighting five separate types of cancers in the last twenty years. Ultimately she succumbed to Angio Sarcoma but fought valiantly until the peaceful end.

Her light will live on with her family and friends who will always remember her as a strong and amazing woman.

I always appreciated talking with Sylvia because she understood so much, and she was so generous with her support. She was witty, kind, and comfortable offering her spirit. I am sure that she will be missed by many people as well as, of course, Dr. Bicknell and his family. My heartfelt prayers are with you.
