Teresa A. Bogardts, age 73, of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Baptist Nassau Hospital.

Born on June 8,1948 in Bronx, New York to the late Edward Malecki and Alfreda Jagiello. Teresa grew up in New York, graduating from Jamaica High School in 1966, then marrying Bruce Bogardts. After, Teresa attended C.W. Post where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in1979.

After graduation Teresa worked in the clothing industry. Over a period of time, they welcomed two sons into the world. They remember their mother as a hard-working, loving person.

Teresa was skilled at sewing, knitting, stain glass, writing, and having a joyful, uplifting attitude. She always enjoyed cooking for her family and making delicious meals. Not to mention, how much she enjoyed gardening. Teresa loved to donate her time to the local thrift store on the island as well.

She leaves behind two sons Jimmy and Lee along with her three sisters Donna, Christine, and Basia. Along with her grandson Zack.

Funeral service will be held on September 13th, 2022, in Bosque Bello Cemetery, Amelia Island at 11 A.M.
