Mrs. Wanda Juanita Green, age 81, of Fernandina Beach, passed away on Tuesday evening, August 9, 2016 at Quality Heathcare of Fernandina.

Born in Atlanta, GA, she was one of eight children born to the late John Dennison and Lottie Edna Combs Guest. As a young child her family moved to Fernandina where she attended high school. In 1954 she married Richard �Dick� Dallas Green Jr. They made their home in Fernandina where they raised their children. Mrs. Green had worked as a Waitress at the Seaside Restaurant and Sonny�s Bar�B�Que.

She was a member of Blackrock Baptist Church.

She leaves behind, her husband, Richard D. �Dick� Green Jr., Fernandina Beach, FL, four sons, Anthony �Tony� Delmas Green, Fernandina Beach, FL, Richard Dallas Green III, Lafayette, LA, Woody Dale Green, Lake Charles, LA, Michael Edward �Eddie� Green, Atlanta, GA, a daughter, Lou Cinda Ferguson, Fernandina Beach, FL, a sister, Yvonne Johnson, Robbinsville, NC, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard with Ricky Lucas, officiating.

Wanda will be laid to rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 � 7:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
