Bill was my neighbor and dear friend. He was a “gentle giant, always there to help in any way. I will always treasure the shell tree that he made for me.Bill loved to walk my dog, Molly, and she adored him. His dry humor and intelligence, his thoughtfulness and love for his wife were ever present. I miss him, and will for a long tome.
William E. Hamb

His greatest joy, however, came from time spent with his family. Among his fondest memories were horseback rides with his daughter, Lara.
After moving with his wife, Kent, to Amelia Island Bill loved to walk on the beach collecting sharks teeth and crafting beautiful shell trees. He often gave these trees as gifts to family and friends. He was known for his dry sense of humor, his quick wit and his compassion and kindness towards other people.
