Frank O'Donnell
I knew Mr. Schrauth only in passing -- intersecting at least once a day during dog walks. But he was always a genial, chatty gentleman and I'm sorry we will no longer see him.
William Lawrence Schrauth, Jr.

William (Bill) L. Schrauth passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 62 years, Nancy Schrauth, and his family at his side. Bill and his family lived in Clinton and New Hartford, NY for nearly 50 years before he and Nancy moved to Amelia Island in Florida in 2008. Bill leaves his wife Nancy and his four children, Chris Schrauth (Debbie), Anne Schrauth, Mike Schrauth (Debbie) and Kate Schrauth Murphy (Brian) and grandchildren Bess, Michael, Kelsey, Colton, Emory, Griffin, and Brian.

Family. faith and supporting his local community were always Bill’s priorities. Bill participated fully throughout his life as a coach, mentor and leader in all he did and to all he knew. Bill understood that service to others was one of life’s most needed and rewarding of endeavors.
Sharing his life with his beloved wife Nancy was his most joyful adventure. Raising their family, traveling, and walking the woods of Kirkland Town Park with his beloved children and dogs were the highlights of Bill’s long and beautiful life.
