Technical problems with our website
Over the last couple weeks, we experienced technical difficulties with our website and are working hard to bring it back.
At this time we are able to place life stories on our website, but no photographs. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for visiting. We hope that you will bear with us while we work to resolve these issues.
Important Information For Our Families
We are in unprecedented times as we adapt to how we are to function socially. At Oxley-Heard we have a special responsibility to continue to assist families with compassion and a level of service that has been our hallmark for well over three quarters of a century. With that in mind, Oxley-Heard will continue to work with families to see that their loved one is taken care of with the same degree of kindness and professionalism we have always provided.
Oxley-Heard will be diligent in our cleaning and sanitizing of common contact areas in our building. Our ability to provide such things as hand sanitizer will be based upon availability of those products. As always, facilities for proper hand washing are available.
We will continue to meet with families, as they are able to do so, for both at-need and pre-need arrangements. If necessary, when possible and at a family’s request, we will communicate via telephone, email and other available technology so families are served to the best of our ability.
The families we serve may have to take into consideration the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and the State of Florida for social gatherings such as services or visitations. We are aware many churches and houses of worship are strictly limiting how they gather for worship and fellowship. Therefore, we are also mindful of the suggestions for social distancing, keeping gatherings to smaller groups or just family members.
This may also involve consideration of graveside funeral and memorial services or delaying services for some point in the future. In order to celebrate and remember the life of a loved one, utilizing outdoor venues, when possible may be considered.
Our ability to safely and professionally serve our families remains our primary concern. We appreciate our families understanding as we navigate these difficult times together.[/vc_column_text]
