da V. Martinez age 81, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Quality Health.

She was born on August 8, 1937 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco Martinez and Dolores Morales.

After graduating from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan with a Bachelor�s of Science Degree in 1958 she continued her education and received her Master�s Degree in Library Sciences at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1960. She worked in Puerto Rico for many years in varying capacities as a Librarian before relocating to the United States where she was employed at St. Johns County School Board in Florida, eventually retiring as a Librarian from Flagler Medical Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida.

She leaves behind her children, Neil Robinson and his wife Susan of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Kathleen Ann Robinson and her husband Millo Torres of Puerto Rico, Keith Robinson of Gainesville, Florida; her siblings, Hilda Rios of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Nestor Avila of Puerto Rico, Ququi Rios of Pembroke Pines, Florida; grandchildren, Neil L. Robinson, Richard A. Robinson, Jessica Mason-Villarreal, Natalia Torres, Gabriela Robinson; and great-grandchildren Annabella Robinson, Noah Villarreal and Evan Villarreal.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Home with Father Jose Kallukalam, Celebrant.
