I am truly going to miss Mrs Ott. I will always love you

Adeline W. Ott

2021-07-06

Adeline Ott was known to all as “Korki”. She was a very thoughtful person, quiet, enjoyed seeing her friends. She never cooked – she and Matt always dined out – especially at Long Point. Korki loved her Jack Russell dogs Jane Russell and Dixie. She had a passion for the abused and homeless animals taking food, toys, etc. to the Humane Society often.
Korki’s career was a clothing buyer for the Military Exchange Worldwide and New York City department stores. She loved that job, traveling to different parts of the world visiting the various exchanges to check their inventory. A perfect vocation for her as she was always meticulously dressed and beautifully “put together” – on and off the golf course!
Korki loved golf and was an outstanding member of the 9 Holers at the Long Point Golf Club. She and Matt played a lot of golf over the years enjoying their friends and competing in many golf tournaments. The many special events that were held at the Amelia Island Club brought her great joy.
She was totally devoted to Matt and drove to Jacksonville every day to be with him at
Fleet Landing in Mayport. Korki will be very missed by her many friends.

Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Amelia Island Plantation Chapel.
She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville.
