Aid "Turner" Haddock, Jr.

Aid “Turner” Haddock, Jr., age 92 of Hilliard, Florida passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Kings Ferry, Florida to the late Aid Turner Haddock and Anna Braddock Haddock.

After honorably serving his country in the US Army, Mr. Haddock worked for many years in sales of electrical equipment before retiring. Soon after, he started his own business, Haddock Sales, which marketed automotive additives.

Mr. Haddock enjoyed hunting when he was younger. He was an avid golfer and was so good at it, he almost turned professional.

He had a good sense of humor and loved to aggravate his grandchildren with nicknames he would make up, even going so far as to name his cows after them. He was a huge UF fan and up until recently, would always host large Florida/Georgia game parties at his home.
Mr. Haddock was a member of Ephesus Church in Hilliard for most of his life and was a Mason.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Patricia Haddock; his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind his wife, Sandra Drury of Hilliard, Florida; daughter, Tracey Parrott (Chester) of Douglas, Georgia; step-daughter, Treva Browning of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Clara Jean Arnett of Yulee, Florida, Hazel Groover of Kingsland, Georgia; grandson, Joshua Parrott; granddaughters, Summer Brigmond (Chris), Lisa Spivey (Kevin) both of Ambrose, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brittney, Raelyn, Brantley, Walker and Stella. He also leaves behind 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Ephesus Baptist Church in Hilliard, FL.

His family will receive friends Tuesday evening starting at 5:00 pm at his home, 48907 Haddock Drive, Hilliard, Florida.

He will be laid to rest in Haddock Cemetery
