Annette O�Donnell

Annette O�Donnell, 81, of Ponte Vedra Beach passed away Thursday, August 21, 2020 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Isabelle Carberry O�Donnell.

Ms. O�Donnell lived most of her life in Brooklyn where she worked as an office manager at both a heating oil company and a demolition company. After being retired for some years, she moved to Ponte Vedra Beach to be near her family, especially her first great grandchild.

She was confirmed in the Catholic Church and remained in the church her entire life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Maureen O�Donnell; her grandson, Matthew Misciasci and her former husband and close friend, Vincent Firpo.

She leaves behind her three daughters, Andrea Firpo of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kim (Luca) Misciasci of Yulee, Florida and Patricia (John) Van Decker of Mantoloking, New Jersey; her six grandchildren, Brittany Turner, Kyle (Paulina) Van Decker, Kelsey Van Decker, Brandon Misciasci, Cameron Van Decker and Morgan Feldmann and her two great grandchildren, Leo Turner and Ariella Van Decker.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:30 AM in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors. Fr. Jose Kallukalam will officiate.

She will be laid to rest beside her former husband at Bosque Bello Cemetery.
