Barbara Ann Lepper
2020-07-14
Barbara Ann Lepper, age 71 of Yulee, Florida passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at UF Health in Jacksonville.
Born in Fernandina Beach, Florida to the late Luther and Yvonne Parker Perry, she grew up in Old Town and attended Fernandina Beach High School. She married Norman Lepper in 1991 and they enjoyed 29 happy years together. Her family will always remember with humor her calling out to him, Norman! when she needed help with something.
Mrs. Lepper enjoyed holidays and being with her family, but Christmas was her absolute favorite. She loved cooking all the food for her family during the holidays.
Mrs. Lepper loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all her heart. Her Christian spirit was evident in how she would help anyone who had a need. She often could be found watching the Hallmark Channel-mainly because they had Christmas shows on year round and shopping at Sams Club was always something she was eager to take part in.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jimmy Lee Riggins, who passed away in 1996; and siblings, Baby Buckshot Perry, Raymond Perry, Donald Perry, Eugene Perry and Sara Nell.
She leaves behind her husband, Norman Lepper of Yulee, Florida; her daughters, Tammy Sylvester and Wendy Pickett both of Yulee, Florida; son, Dan Riggins of Orange Park, Florida; siblings, John Perry, Frances Mixon and her husband Virgil, Yvonne Carter, Robert Perry and his wife Beverly all of Fernandina Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Brittany Calhoun, Jacob Calhoun, Jerry Calhoun, Jr., Tabitha Riggins, Kyle Mixon, Mary Flakes, Brandon Riggins, Samantha Riggins, Austin Sylvester and Wyatt Sylvester. She also leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren.
Her family is planning a family gathering at a later date.

RICHARD, JANE & GIRLS July 15, 2020
Barbara no matter what you did, you did with full heart; whether, it be raising children & grands, loving the great grands or preparing for the holidays, all bases were covered and no one was forgotten. Norman was a blessed and lucky man to have met and loved you for the last 29 years.
Rest easy with Jesus and fly with a renewed spirit & body. Hopefully the children will keep your memory alive and speak of you as they always have in the same old familiar tone and carry on with those traditions you instilled in them and set in place.
P.S.: Richard wanted to mention he hopes you dont flip any inner tubes on the Itchetucknee or roll down any hollers in the mountains on the outskirts of heaven. Homework of sorts to overcome your fear! Lol. Good times and good laughs! Tammy you tried!
Love you always!
Richard, Jane (The Other Mrs. Lepper), Kristen & Kimberly
