Barbara J. Jones

Barbara Jean Jones, a 93 year old resident of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday the 6th of October at Baptist Medical Center.
Born in 1927 in Reynolds, IN, Barb spent most of her life as an Indiana resident with her three siblings before marrying Donald B. Jones in 1947. They retired to Florida in 1987 enjoying the sun and surf for 16 years before Don's passing in 2003.
Barb spent 26 years at Central Lab at Lafayette, IN as a highly respected quality assurance manager. Her pursuit of perfection gained her many awards and recognition from her peers.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Clawson, Sharon Jackson (Rob), and Diane Weiss (Tim) along with her five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Barb loved all of her family members but her 4 legged kids may have enjoyed the most special place in her heart. Memorial donations can be made to your local animal rescue group.

With my Deepest Condolences to a wonder woman Barbara Jones. She was such fun a great sense of humor. She was a client of mine along with her Late Husband Doctor Jim Jones, Great couple lucky to have had both of them in my Life on Amelia Island. I will miss Barbara and her wit. You are now lifted up to the Lord in Peace and Tranquility, Amazing Woman.! My Prayers will follow you!!
