Mrs. Barbara H. Tuttle, age 75 of Yulee passed away peacefully on Monday morning, May 2, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL,

Born in Jacksonville, she was the only child born to the late William Louis and Alma Ireland Halter. She grew up in North Jacksonville and raised her family there before relocating to Yulee in 1989. Mrs. Tuttle followed her husband and his military career around the world and U.S. enjoying all there was to see and do. The Tuttles were avid rock and gem hunters. She was a member of the Gateway R/C Flying Club during the 1970s, a member of the Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society as well as the Southeast Federation of Mineralogical Societies where she had held various officers positions.

Mrs. Tuttle is preceded in death by a son, Jon Tuttle who passed away in December of 2007, and her husband of 48 years, David T. Tuttle Sr., who passed away in 2008.

A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; she leaves behind a son, David T. Tuttle Jr. and his wife, Deborah, Yulee, FL, a daughter in law, Linda Tuttle, Jacksonville, FL, a sister in law, Andrea Toohey, Jacksonville, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, on Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley Heard with Reverend Jackie Hayes, officiating.

Mrs. Tuttle will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bosque Bello Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 � 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
