Beau T. Claxton, Jr.

Beau T. Claxton, Jr, 62, of Fernandina Beach passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 9, 2025.

Beau was born in Fernandina Beach and was a son of Helen Davis Thrift and the late Beau T. Claxton.

Beau had lived his entire life in Fernandina Beach and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. He owned and operated his own masonry business and loved to fish. He had several friends in the community and was highly thought of around town.

He leaves behind his son, Beau T. Claxton, III; his mother, Helen Thrift of Yulee; a brother, Bucky Thrift of Jacksonville as well as two nephews, Anthony and Ashton Thrift also of Jacksonville.

Family and friends will gather at Locals on 14th St. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 beginning at 3:30 PM to celebrate and remember his life.
