To Betty's family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Betty well from our Fernandina High School days I always admired her. She was lovely and a kind person to those around her.

Classmates of the Class of 57 are heart-broken to hear about the loss of Betty. She was a vivacious, beautiful, charming, witty, and wonderful member of our class. She was chosen as Cheerleading Captain for our Varsity Football Team and win or lose, we can still visualize her blond hair blowing in the wind, wearing her white sweater, blue skirt, and cheering the team on. Betty was the best of the best and we all loved her dearly. God has selected a special angel to look down on us. On behalf of the Class, a donation in Betty's name will be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital. We will always remember Betty as a Class favorite. Rest in peace lovely lady.
