Billie Elaine Syse (Dickerman), 66, resident of Fernandina Beach, Florida passed away on April 11, 2026, with her husband and two daughters by her side. She was born on October 12, 1959, in Owosso, Michigan.

From an early age, Billie wanted to see the world. Just out of high school, she left Owosso for Miami where she attended a travel school. This led to a job onboard a cruise ship where she met her husband Petter. Soon they were married, had three children with whom Billie stayed home through their entire upbringing. Before she knew it, she and her husband were empty nesters, it was time to take up the travel. With trips to all corners of the world and a love for scrapbooking, Billie created loving memories from all moments, at home and abroad.

Her smile and openness were second to none. Her love for her family and friends was so genuine and shined like the brightest star. Her love for life was strong, her fight against her cancer was even stronger. Way too early the cancer took her life, 45 years married, 47 years together with her husband. She is dearly missed.
Billie was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred Dickerman and Mother Jo Dickerman and brother-in-law Daryl Dann.

She is survived by her husband, Petter; daughters Kristin (Mike) O’Keeffe, Jannike (Kyle) Coker; son Bjorn (Niki) Syse and her 5 grandchildren Lauren O'Keeffe, Kylee Jo and Crayton Pete Coker and Porter Whit and Sofie Ina Syse.

She is survived by her five siblings, Debra Dann, Lori Dickerman (Doug) Orser, Judy (Bob) Craig, Edward (Jodi) Dickerman and Jeffrey (Tina) Dickerman.
Rest in peace Dear Billie.

A celebration of life will be announced by her family at a later date.

Rather than flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
