Brett Lee Hendrix

Brett Lee Hendrix, age 47 of Fernandina Beach, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
He was born on December 8, 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida.
An avid outdoorsman, Brett loved hunting and fishing, finding peace in the woods. He enjoyed all sports, but especially FSU football. He was an accomplished weight lifter and won many bench press contests. Brett was a good hearted person who loved to laugh and hang out with friends, whether hunting trips or Saturday afternoon football cookouts.
He is preceded in death by his beloved Dad, Kirby Hendrix; his maternal grandparents, Will and Cleo Fowler; his paternal grandparents, Luther and Dorothy Hendrix.
He leaves behind his mother, Janice Fowler Hendrix; brother, Brian Hendrix (Angie); long-time companion Kelly Anderson; nephew, Brian Hendrix, Jr.; nieces, Brittnie Hendrix and Emma Hendrix; uncles, Steve Fowler and Steve Hendrix (Cathy); aunts, Peggy Scott (Charles), Tisa Fowler and many cousins and friends.
His family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
