Brinda Bolden Freeman, age 65 of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Warner Center for Caring.

She was born on December 27, 1952 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Ruben Lee and Shirley Carroll (Rish) Bolden.

She was a life-long resident of Fernandina Beach and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1970. After obtaining her bachelor�s degree from Mercer University, she went to work as a 2nd grade teacher for the Nassau County School Board at the Peck School and Atlantic & Southside Elementary Schools.

She married Carl Freeman on July 2, 1983 and they enjoyed their life in Fernandina Beach together. In her spare time, Brinda loved going to the beach, reading a good book, crafting, sewing, crocheting,working in her yard and in the garden with her father. Brinda also enjoyed vacationing with Carl in the mountains.

She leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Carl Freeman of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her parents, Ruben and Shirley Bolden of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her siblings, Ronald (Meriam) Bolden, David (Aysegul) Bolden and Pam (Bill) Bradley all of Fernandina Beach, Florida. She also leaves behind her beloved dog �Izzy�.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Oxley-Heard Funeral Home.

There will be a private family service at a later date.

She will rest in Bosque Bello Cemetery.
