Dear Steve and Lyn, So sorry for your loss but it is so good to hear that he enjoyed his last 4 years and, hopefully, most of his life. He was fortunate to have a good old age and such a family. Hope you have wonderful memories.
Bruce "Bud" Nadeau

Bruce “Bud” Nadeau, age 96, passed away on September 21, 2026.
Bud was born on June 12, 1930 and raised in California. In 2022 he moved to The Lakeside on Amelia Island, where he became part of a welcoming community.
Bud served in the U.S. Air Force for six years during the Korean War, working as a radio operator aboard B-52 aircraft. He later built a career as a sales engineer and retired in 1995.
Throughout his life, Bud was an avid fisherman and a devoted car enthusiast.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Joan Cathrine Nadeau, and his brother, Ray. Survivors include sons Michael, Roger, and Stephen, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and his sister, Darlene Thomas.
A Celebration of Life was held in Bud’s honor at The Lakeside, where he was remembered by the many friends he made during his last four years there.
