Memories
GAIL COOK May 22, 2019
I have such fond memories of Ms Cassie when I would visit her neighbor Nita and Ed Cook. I remember following an eye surgery the only thing we could get Nita to eat was Ms Cassies chicken and dumplings. There was a debate as to whose were the best and everyone eating agreed that it was a tie. They both made the best dumplings that just melted in your mouth and filled you up. She was a very special person and a wonderful neighbor. She loved her family and always had that quiet smile when she met you whether for the first time or not in a long time. She led a full life, but I know she was ready to meet her Lord and Savior and all of the family members that have already gone home. May God give all of her family the peace of his comfort in knowing that she is home now.

Very sad to hear that she has passed on .I do historical metal detecting and she gave me permission to search her yard. We spoke several times and I appreciated her kindness and generosity. We often talked about her life and family. She was a true lady.

I enjoyed visits with MIss Cassie on her back porch. She was an inspiration to me with her sweet, gentle ways and her very sharp mind and memory. She could remove ones concern about growing older as she aged so graciously.
