2024-01-01

Cathy Lynn Caul, 73 of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024.

Born on May 16, 1949 in Harvey, IL to the late Charles Klauk and Lillian Jay Klauk. She grew up in Riverdale, IL and graduated from Thornton high school in 1967. After attending the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and Design, she married Thomas Caul in 1972.

After marrying Thomas she quickly was appointed CEO, COO, and CFO of the Caul Family. Over the next 8 years, they welcomed two children into their home. Her children, and later her grandchildren, were her world.

While living in Atlanta, she was an active member of the Cathedral of Christ the King while also volunteering as a caseworker with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lillian, and her aunts and uncles, Frank and Clara Wesley and Bus and Annie Griffith

Cathy leaves behind her husband Thomas of 52 years, beloved dog Murphy, children Jason Caul (Megan) of Olathe, KS and Shannon Caul of City of Decatur, GA, grandchildren Thomas, Lillian, and Amelia of Olathe, KS.

Visitation has been cancelled due to the weather. Rosary service will take place in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
