Cedric Latodd Lee
2020-01-31
It is with great sadness that the family of Cedric Latodd Lee announces his passing quietly at home surrounded by family on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 42 years.
He was born in Fernandina Beach to Brad B. and Sylvia A. (Brown) Lee and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Mr. Lee worked as a custodian for many years at Fernandina Beach High School. From a young age, he was always a high energy person who loved being outdoors. He was known for his outgoing personality and his sense of humor, always making people laugh. Ced as he was so affectionately called by many, was a caring and loving person that would give you his last. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching movies and wrestling. At a young age, he was baptized and became a member of Greater Fernandina Beach Church of God, Pastor Jeanette M. Richo.
He leaves behind his parents, Brad and Sylvia Lee of Fernandina Beach, Florida; his siblings, Regina Moore of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Angelica Lord of Orlando, Florida, Angelia(sister) and Joseph Marshall of Clarksville, Tennessee, Elaine Dixon(sister) and Leonard of Lake City, Florida, Kevin Lee of Palatka, Florida, Brad Lee, Jr., Timothy Lee and Javon Lee all of Fernandina Beach, Florida. He also leaves behind a host of loved aunts and uncles who mourn his passing. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and a special loved friend, Sylvia Johnson.
Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.
Memorial Services to remember and celebrate his life will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard.
