At 11:11 am today as Chad’s family and friends celebrate his life, I said a prayer instead of making a wish. Chad always would notice when the clock read 11:11 whether a.m. or p.m.and say, “Make a Wish!” My prayer today was for Chuck, Debbie, Bree and Chase whom I had the great pleasure of knowing. DeGrove family, please know I am lifting you all up in prayer during this challenging time of losing your son and father. I also prayed for Shannon and her family to feel the overwhelming peace of Jesus as you navigate life without your husband and the grief which comes from it. May the peace, hope, joy and love of God be with you all! And, of course, May the Fourth be with you, too!

Shannon, Chuck, Debbie, and the children, I was so sad to hear this news. I haven't seen Chad in years, but have plenty of great memories from all the family gatherings as kids. When he was working as a photographer, he set our daughter up with the deluxe package on her senior pictures. That was a kind gesture and we were appreciative of his good will. You are in our hearts and on our minds. May you find the strength to find your way to the peace of fond memories and the hope of the great day of reunion. We love you all.

Awesome family man with a great sense of humor. Peace and blessings to Shan and his family

Although I did not know Chad for very long he always made me smile when he would answer the phone when I would have to call his store (Aaron’s) to see if their store had something I needed sent to mine. He was a very kind person. Always a pleasure to talk to and the one chance I got to visit him at his store in Yule he was so upbeat and outgoing. He will be missed.
