I have had the honor and privilege of caring for June & Charley for the last few years. They were such a lovely loving couple with a loving family, such a rarity to find sweethearts from childhood and last through 73yrs of marriage. I’ve enjoyed their friendship and caring for them.To Rick, Maryann, Ken, Randy,Robert, Brandon and Ashli you are all very dear to my heart and your family will always be a part of me.To sum up Charley (Dad) in one word - it’s GENTLEMAN. I will miss you dearly.

We only had the pleasure of knowing Charley over the 5 years we've called Plantation Point our home. We always looked forward to our interactions with him, as he was a most interesting man! Our dog, Millie also looked for Charley when he walked on our street or we passed Charley's home. He always had time to pet Millie and spend time with her. You all will be in our thoughts during this difficult time.

I grew up with Charlie and June, literally from the day I was born to adulthood. Charlie and June were my godparents, who I loved very much. I always enjoyed the time spent with Charlie listening to his stories and sharing his wisdom to me. I deeply respected, admired and loved the man and always considered him a very close relative (even though we are not blood related). I will miss him dearly, as well as June, but am blessed having so many great memories of and with them. As my mom also stated, we will see you again in our next life in heaven. All of our love to the Johnson family.

The minute we met Charley and June we knew it would be a lasting friendship. During more than 62 years of friendship we laughed, cried and confided our deepest thoughts and concerns. There is an emptiness in our hearts that will never be filled. We miss you dear friends, but we will see you again. 💔

Our sincere condolences to Rick, Ken, Randy and all of Charley's family! We have had the pleasure of having your parents as our neighbors for more than 25 years. We will miss Charley with a fondness in our hearts of all the memories we have shared. We are saddened that we didn't get the chance to say farewell, but we are thankful knowing that he is once again with June. Our prayers are for God's Peace and Comfort to be with you all!
