Charlotte A. McAninch, 53 of Callahan, passed away with her family at her side after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer.

Charlotte was born in Jacksonville, Fl. on January 18, 1966 to James J. and Burnadeen Carver Clark. She was a homemaker who loved arts & crafts, gardening, and cooking.

She also helped her husband Ellis manage Callahan Funeral Home.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by a brother James Jack Clark, Jr., a nephew Jonathon Clark, and a great-nephew Mason Clark.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years Ellis L. McAninch, Jr., 2 children Amanda McAninch and Ellis (Macky) McAninch, III, special nephew/son Mark McAninch, Jr., 5 grandchildren Arielle McAninch, Ellysiah McAninch, Aaliyah McAninch, Isiah McAninch, and Brantley Kingston McAninch. Survivors also include 2 sisters Linda Gail (Howard Pearce and Donna (Brian) Swilley, 3 brothers Darryl Clark, Kevin Clark (Amy Adkins), and Mark (Alicia) Dyal, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will take place in the chapel she cared for at Callahan Funeral Home on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. with services beginning at 7:30 p.m.
