Christopher William Lole

Mr. Christopher William �Chris� Lole, age 67, formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away at his home on Amelia Island, FL on Monday evening, May 2, 2016.

Born in Detroit, MI, he was the only child born to the late Theodore William and Marian Bernice Maghielse Lole. Chris was a graduate of Redford High School, Class of 1966. After high school, he attended Albion College in Albion, MI where he majored in Accounting and Finance. Upon obtaining his Bachelors Degree Chris joined the State of Michigan Internal Revenue Service where he remained until accepting a position with Arthur Andersen Accounting. During the ensuing years he attended the University of Michigan and obtained his MBA in Finance and CPA Certification. Chris later joined the Stroh Brewing Company in Detroit, MI. While working for Stroh�s he traveled globally and became the youngest Vice President in company history. He left Stroh�s to purchase Education Training Research Services (ETRS), in the mid 1990s, which he continued to own and operate until his passing. Chris had visited and spent seasons on Amelia Island since 2002. He made the Amelia Island Plantation his permanent home in early 2014.

Since discovering the island, he enjoyed purchasing and rehabbing various Plantation properties.

Chris was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan, enjoyed marathon sessions of Law and Order, FOX News and a good steak accompanied by a John Daly.

He leaves behind, his two sons, Jeffrey Andrew Lole (Nicole Weinmeier), Kevin William Lole, of Chicago, Illinois, lifelong friend, Marsha Lole and friend Cathy Gitzen both of Detroit, MI.

A time to celebrate Chris�s life will be held in Detroit, Michigan at a later date.

His witty and light hearted personality will be greatly missed by his family, friends, employees and coworkers.
