Courtney Cecelia Walker

Courtney Cecelia Walker, age 27 of Yulee, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019.
She was born on October 21, 1991 in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Ronald J. and Vanessa L. (Coote) Walker. She was a life-long resident of the area, graduating from Fernandina Beach High School in 2010.
Courtney was a vivacious and free-spirited person who enjoyed going to the beach, arts & crafts, music, gardening and animals.
She leaves behind her parents Ron Walker and Vanessa Coote of Yulee, Florida; her sister, Savannah Walker of Brooklyn, New York; her paternal grandmother, Mim Walker of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her maternal grandmother Elaine Coote of Clearwater, Florida; her beloved dog Mabel and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 am on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church.

Courtney, I love you. I cannot find the words I need in order to describe how authentic and beautiful you truly are. There are no pretenses entertained within our friendship. We shared ourselves with each other, hiding behind nothing; our failures and triumphs shared freely and truthfully. I know that love always championed our struggles-what we desired for each other we also desired for ourselves, even when at times we couldn�t see it in that moment. You are, above all else, a person filled with an immense amount of love. You shared that love with the people around you. You share it with us still today. I believe our lives never end, they just change. Our love for and support of each other continues still. �Real recognizes real�. I love you my sweet, true friend, with all my heart.
