Mike & Amy
Fletcher, you will always be remembered in our hearts. You always saw the positive side of life and were there for so many people. You always accepted people for who they were and not what they could do for you. Watch over us all, until we see you again. Love always, Mike & Amy
Daniel Fletcher Lee
2021-09-18
Daniel Fletcher Lee, 48, of Yulee passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center, Nassau.
Born April 25, 1973 in Jacksonville, Fletcher was raised in Fernandina Beach, Fl. He was a son of the late Daniel Eugene Lee and Mae M Lee. He attended Nassau County Schools and then worked as a carpenter for most of his adult life.
Fletcher was truly a “multi-Craftsman”. Nearly everything on a construction site, he was able to do. He could do finishing work, framing, electrical work and even plumbing. While not working on various projects he really enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.
Being family oriented, he could think of nothing better to do than being at home with his family and friends outside around a fire having a good time. Always his own person, if you knew Fletcher, what you saw was what you got. His slow southern drawl and quick wit made any situation humorous. He will be best remembered by his infectious laughter.
Fletcher was predeceased by his father, Daniel Eugene Lee.
He leaves behind his wife, Shannon Lee, of the home. He also leaves behind his daughters, Caitlin and Brittany Lee; his mother, Mae Lee of Yulee; his siblings, Erika Lee (Stuart) Hamer of Fernandina Beach; Ashley Shawn Lee and Cody Eugene (Terri) Lee of Yulee as well as several extended family members and many friends.
A time to remember and celebrate Fletcher’s life will be held Sunday, September 26th at 2pm at 10 Acres 961023 Buccaneer Trail Fernandina Beach Fl. All are welcome.
He will be laid to rest with his father at Pine Grove Cemetery near Alma, GA at a later date.
