Daniel George Nolan, age 73 of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.
He was born in Camden, New Jersey to the late Daniel Joseph Nolan and Juanita Margaret Noy Nolan.
Mr. Nolan served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. In 1993 he moved to Amelia Island where he worked for the Amelia Island Plantation until he retired in 2018.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. In his spare time he could often be found on our local waterways fishing. He never met a stranger and loved animals.

Mr. Nolan is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice Ann Nolan and brother, Michael Nolan.

He leaves behind his daughter, Marna Hancock and her husband Michael of Lebanon, Tennessee; son, Daniel G. Nolan, Jr. and his wife Chandra Boodo of Pickerington, Ohio; sister, Linda Henry of Vineland, New Jersey; grandchildren, John Boodo, Ryan Boodo, Brittany Hancock and Brianna Hancock; great-grandsons, Brenton Michael Lee Hancock. He also leaves behind his companion Sara Arenella.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Nassau Humane Society, 639 Airport Road, Fernandina Beach, Florida 32034.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:45 am on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Burgess Chapel of Oxley-Heard with Father Jose Kallukalam.
His family will receive friends for the hour prior to the service.
