Deborah Sue Fussell

Mrs. Deborah Sue Fussell, age 58, of Jacksonville passed away on Sunday morning, July 28, 2016 at the Warner Center for Caring in Fernandina Beach, FL.
Born in Jacksonville, FL she was the daughter of Carl Phillip and Beverly Jo Turner Tison. She grew up in the Beverly Hills section of North Jacksonville until moving to Oceanway in 1967. Affectionately known as Debby, Bobo and Dootsi � Bobo, she was a 1976 graduate of Victory Christian Academy. She had worked as a Manager at Kmart on Lem Turner Road before becoming a Mail Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service in Fernandina Beach.
Debby loved the beaches of Northeast Florida and spending quiet time drawing and sketching. Her family recalls her passion to help others and make them happy.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lora Crews Turner and son in law, Jason Flood.
She leaves behind her husband, Enoch Velasco, her parents, Carl and Beverly Turner Tison, three daughters, Letitia Rountree, Dena Flood, Cheyenne Townsend, a sister, Phillis Wesley, a brother, Carl P. Tison II, four grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Pines Baptist Church on Lem Turner Road in Jacksonville with Pastor Darren Wesley and Brother John Moody, officiating.
Debby will be laid to rest in Tison�s Dunn Creek Cemetery.
