Dolores L. Scandaliato

Delores Scandaliato passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020 at her home in Fernandina Beach at the age of 96.
Born in Detroit, MI she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Charlotte Rampanelli Giaier.
A long time resident of Fernandina Beach she was affectionately known as �Miss Dee� to many of the friends and to those whose lives she touched throughout the years. She retired at the Secretary of Transportation for the Nassau County School Board in 1992.
Mrs. Scandaliato leaves behind her two sons and daughter in law, Don Scandaliato and his wife, Helen and David Scandaliato.
Due to concerns with Covid-19 a memorial service will not be held at this time.
To pay condolences, a remembrance book may be signed at Oxley-Heard Funeral Home during the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
The final resting place for Dolores Scandaliato will be in Bosque Bello Cemetery according to her wishes.

Dear David and Donald,
So very sorry for your loss! Dolores befriended my mother and would visit her frequently at Quality Health; her visits kept my mother engaged in life�she was an angel!
Dolores was such a positive person and never complained about life�s challenges, just kept on going.
I am thankful to have known her!
