Donald F. Carter, age 74 of Fernandina Beach, loving husband of Jane (Ohlheiser) and devoted father of Kathryn (Preston) Roberts, adoring grandfather of Charlotte, loving brother of Barbara Carter, Joan (Charlie) Wilson, the late Edward Kernbauer and his surviving wife, Laura, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017.

He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Northfield, IL.
